Featuring music for women's voices and drums, this program explores rhythms and dances from a variety of cultures. Works include contemporary compositions by Stephen Paulus and David Dickau; folksongs from Venezuela, Lebanon, and Egypt; and the world premiere of two newly commissioned arrangements by Mexican composer José Galván.
