Musae presents Alegría y Placer: The Rhythm of the Holidays
Musae's 2007 holiday concert features uplifting and heart-warming carols, lullabies, and other tunes with roots in Spain, Latin America, and Africa. Highlights will include Renaissance composer Tomas Luis de Victoria's "Duo Seraphim," local composer Conrad Susa's acclaimed "Carols and Lullabies from the Southwest" (accompanied by harp, marimba, and guitar), and a handful of surprising and delightful arrangements of beloved holiday favorites.
