Musae presents
Home for the Holidays
Music of Comfort and Love

This program will warm your heart on even the coldest of winter nights. The sweet sounds of Musae will fill the evening as the group showcases Conrad Susa's dazzling "Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest." The concert also features Eleanor Daley's "What Sweeter Music," American favorite "I'll Be Home for Christmas," and Joan Szymko's haunting setting of Saint Teresa of Ávila's text "Nada Te Turbe." Music from Ghana, Korea, and Israel explores the meaning of home around the globe. To close the program, Musae presents the world premiere of Ryan James Brandau's "(There's No Place Like) Home for the Holidays" - a contemporary take on a 1950s Christmas classic commissioned by Musae especially for this concert.
